went to our graduation trip last week
i liked it :)

start our journey at 1 something at the morning ><
going to Pulao Pangkor
stay in the bus whole night
and the air conditoner was like. super cold
i totally ccouldnt sleep gosh
anyway arrived pangkor in the morning
then went to play bla bla bla..
i was sooo afraid la
i dont know how to swim ah
gosh
and i keep shouting when i get down from the boat
and chua yi min very kolian on saving me
and make her wanna die also

went to Cameron Highlands
the day we start our journey had an accident at cameron
and papa mama were so worry la
anyway we are all safe :D
then went to tea farm ah
the person ah drove the bus

our dinner was steamboat

went to somewhere for the hot spring
then i was starting headache
and keep headache till the following day

anway we went to see fireflies at night
sooo beautiful ah
there are many many fireflies and it was like the christmas tree
they stop at the tree and the light keep blinking
after that went back to hotel at KL :)

going back to Malaysia ♥

last few days were exam and just so busy on studying
also i was thinking to write blog before exam
and after that didnt and i decided to write after exam

but the main thing is im going back to malaysia tomorrow!

hm last week was the exam week la
and the week before that is SWOT vac which is the study week for students to study at home
hm not bad la the exam

opps and little Brownie
he is getting better i think
last time we brough him to the vet again for checking if he is healing itself well
and yes he is
he gain lots weight which is good
now we are decreasing his critical care and the painkiller
and i saw him is walking better than before and getting more naughty
he should be allright :)
im going back and dajie them is going back on christmas too
jiejie's friend will look after them during the time we are not at here
will see you xiaohuang xiaohei and maomao later la hehe

Hello everyone! Brownie is now home with us! It looks like Brownie doesn’t need to be cut under the knife anymore!Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok here’s the initial plan we discussed with the vet yesterday. First, Brownie was given some Metacam pain killers. So once the pain has been reduced, he actually started feeling better and started eating more and more which is GREAT because he’d need as much energy as he can gain before the surgery. The vets from BBEV (Brisbane Bird & Exotics Veterinary Service) are wonderful! They’d ring and keep me up to date with Brownie’s situation. They rang me before Brownie went to bed the night he was kept hospitalized, they rang me next day morning and told me Brownie has gained some weight since they critical care fed him; they also rang me before they give anaesthesia on Brownie. And they will give me a call before the surgery begins.

So while I was waiting impatiently for the next phone call. Deborah rang! In the beginning, I had a hard time understanding all the medical terms she said, but I was relieved to hear this from her “After the anaesthetic, I had a good feeling when I checked Brownie’s broken bones, it felt like the body is actually doing the healing itself, there are some scar tissues formed to fill the gap between the broken edges. In another word, tissue repair helps hold the bones together, which I don’t think it’s necessary to open him up and put a pin through the broken bones when the body is doing something.”

“What a relief!” I said “So he won’t need a surgery?”

Deborah: “No, well, not at this stage, but Brownie will need to come back for a post operative recheck in 7 days to make sure he’s doing good enough.”

Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!

We’re so proud of you Brownie!

Ok so here’s what we need to give him till he’s fully recovered.

- Metacam (painkiller) Give 0.05ml by mouth twice daily

- Vitamin C: Give half tablet once daily

- Critical Care for Herbivores. At least 50ml per day

He’s still feeling slight drowsiness as complete recovery from anaesthesia may take up to 48 hours
poor little thing :(

Besides his daily diet, we still need to force feed him to prevent Gut Stasis. Guinea pigs won’t eat well when they’re in pain so we need to prevent this from happening by syringe feed him.

Unlike a dog or a cat, when a guinea pig stops eating it is a very serious problem and can cause death.

Still feeling drowsy and tired

I left his x-Ray with the vet, this is one I stole from the internet. Well, this is actually not quite similar to his but you get the idea.

His femur is broken into half, initially we decided to give him a surgery by putting a pin through the broken bones, this will helps connects the bones together and eventually heal. This pin will need to be taken off after the recovery so the leg become normal again. But because right now the body is doing the healing itself, there are some tissues build around the edges (as mentioned above) we do not need to perform a surgery on Brownie. But because the bones are not joint back together, his right leg will be shorter than the other one, but we’re happy for him to be like this as long as he recovers. He doesn’t need a long leg anyway. : )

That’s fine Brownie, you’ll be alright.

im so lazy

i couldnt understand all what the doctor or nurse said

there are a lot of special word

so i just forward what dajie wrote at her blog hehe

the Critical Care he need to eat is really sooo many

it is hard to feed him

and take lotssss time

Poor little Brownie

the pet that i get about 3 months ago

he is sooo active and always like to run here run there

but he was hurt

he sprained his leg few weeks ago when shower

yes everyone though is funny and never heart that a guinea pig can sprain leg while shower

he couldnt walk properly so we brought him to the vet

the doctor said the bones was dislocated, but that seem like not a big thing

as the doctor push back the bone and he didnt cry after that

he get better but it is not cured after one week

so we brought him to the vet again for the x ray yesterday

the result is not that good

his right femur bone was fractured

and he need a specialist

today dajie them bring him to another vet

and the doctor said he may need surgery

we can see that he is slimmer than before

he might feel painfull and coundnt eat

so now he is staying in the hospital now

tomorrow will have the checking and the surgery maybe

so poooor

can you imagine that a little animal broke his leg?

and he is just 20 weeks big only!!

he is just so smalll

i really feel so sad

while jiejie called me today and talked about the situation and the surgery

i was like.. crying and really feel so so so sad

last week was the school holiday

i went to sunshine coast
with some friends
actually i was thinking wanna go or not
because someone decided not to go at the end
i was just &%*%^ crazy
because other ppl we dont know each other very well except one
i was just thinking it is weird

i decided to go at the end
i dont wanna ruin my holiday that everyday working and not going out have some fun
althought working is good xDDD


the trip was good
that day was raining in Brisbane
but fortunately no raining in Sunshine Coast
maybe just a little bit cloudy in the morning
but it was sun shining after that


the water is very clean right
